Our team empowers customers with tools to support people in emergency situations and help save lives. We develop specialized software solutions across medical fields and emergency services. At Omda you’ll be close to customer needs and your work will have an impact where it matters most.
We are in the middle of modernizing our software platform while at the same time growing the functionality for mission critical operations such as Emergency Response (112), Ambulance or Search and Rescue systems. We work closely with our customers to evolve the system functionality and performance, meeting their demands for new functionality and improved system capabilities at an ever-increasing pace.
As a Product Manager you will work with product commercial aspects such as product strategies and roadmaps, sourced products (from 3rd Party Product suppliers), pricing and release plans. You may also participate in trade shows, exhibitions and conferences, representing Omda Incident.
As Product Owner, you are an active member of the Agile Development team. You participate in daily stand-ups, break down and prioritize Epics, Stories, and Trouble Reports (TRs), and ensure clear communication of requirements. You work closely with developers and testers, keeping track of estimates, and following up to ensure work stays within the allocated and budgeted hours. You continuously balance scope, time, and quality to meet customer needs and release targets.

As part of our Product team, you will work both as a Product Manager and a Product Owner, for example with;
- Product Strategies and Business Cases
- Feature and product capability requirements optimizing the total business
- Product Life Cycle Handling
- 3PP (3rd Party Products) Supplier management
- Tender Management/Coordination
- Competitor Analysis
- Customer contacts and delivery planning
- Customer Product Information
- Product Owner for products developed in agile software development teams, e.g. define & prioritize stories in the Team Backlog
- Work together with Customers, other Product Managers/Owners, UX Designers and the Agile Development teams

We have a complete software stack with both back-end and front-end (User Interface) products that are integrated together into our system solution. Our products’ target characteristics are user-friendly, automation and simplicity.
Your matching strengths for the role:
- University degree in Software Engineering, or similar.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Product Manager, Product Owner or Solution Architect of large complex software systems, preferably with elements of real-time requirements and high demands on reliability
- Knowledge of product architectures and interfaces
- Customer interaction experience
- Project management experience
- Agile development process experience
- Great communication skills in both English and Swedish
- Teamwork oriented.
- Strong "Can-do-attitude", fearless, proactive, and driven.
- Passionate about innovation.
- Swedish Citizen
Would be great, but not mandatory, if you have:
- Spanish
